The Idea

The timeline for bringing a pharmaceutical compound from concept to clinical reality is historically slow and extremely expensive. Genome Sentinel explores the intersection of machine learning and computational biology to accelerate the early-stage compound screening process.

The Architecture

The platform integrates AutoDock Vina for molecular docking simulation, paired with custom Python-based machine learning models that evaluate molecular binding affinities. By visualizing the structural proteins in 3D, the system helps identify highly probable targets much faster than conventional screening methods.

Research Direction

Currently, Genome Sentinel is positioned as a research platform, functioning at the intersection of AI and applied biological science. The ongoing objective is to improve the prediction accuracy of the generative chemistry models to reduce the false-positive rate in computational screening.
